The Palm Springs, CA native started his musical career, which has spanned over twenty
years, with piano lessons at age six. He gradually moved on to guitar lessons, playing
lead guitar for many years with hard-rock and progressive bands. In his early 20's,
he ultimately chose bass as his main instrument.
"I think that there is a certain maturity that is required to really do bass right, and it
seemed like a natural progression for me since I was done being the center-stage show-off."
Strongly influenced by experimental, world music, progressive rock and jazz artists, he
has appeared on several albums in Austin and Nashville, one of which achieved high acclaim
in South Africa.
